The Image Market in Times of Disruption
An event organised by the Office of Visual Arts of the Institut Français Germany in collaboration with Paris Photo.
Facing technological, geopolitical, and ethical shifts, how is the photography and image market responding? What dynamics shape the sector in France and across Europe? How does Paris Photo address these changes, and what is the role of fairs for galleries in the era of digital markets? Jean-Kenta Gauthier and Sebastian Klemm, gallery owners and members of the Paris Photo selection committee, in conversation with Siri Keil, journalist and moderator.
Paris Photo, the leading international fair dedicated to photography and the image, will celebrate its 29th edition at the Grand Palais from 12 – 15 November 2026, as France marks 200 years of photography by Nicéphore Niépce.
