Pan-Africanism and Abolitionism – From Prisons to Borders
The event offers an introduction to abolitionist and Pan-African perspectives on prison systems and border regimes. Starting from a critique of prison systems, it highlights parallels between migration controls and state border policies. It focuses on questions of control, structural violence, and colonial and neocolonial continuities. This talk will invite participants to discuss key concepts collectively and to critically reflect on their social relevance.
The All-African People’s Revolutionary Party (A-APRP) is a Pan-African political organization committed to the total liberation and unification of Africa under scientific socialism.
