Opening reception for the thematic group exhibition kennenLERNEN at xpon-art gallery. Between encounter, experience, and insight, the featured works explore processes of getting to know people, spaces, structures, and perspectives. Getting to know one another does not begin with conversation alone. It emerges through a glance, a touch, chance encounters, memory, or the traces left behind by people, animals, and objects. The thirteen artistic positions brought together in this exhibition open up diverse perspectives on encounter, perception, and relationships. They speak of fleeting moments of connection as well as the processes of remembering, searching, and understanding. Together, they unfold a multifaceted mosaic of how we encounter others—and ourselves.
