​​​​Echo Chamber Germany – Photographic Perspectives the Rise of the Far Right ​​brings together the works of eight photographers that grapple with sites of right-wing violence, Germany’s culture of remembrance, and the visual strategies of right-wing figures, while also depicting examples of countermeasures centred in solidarity. Viewed collectively, these works provide a nuanced view of one of the most urgent and alarming political developments of our time.​​​ 

​Rafael Heygster​​ (b. 1990) is a freelance photographer from Germany. His work engages with the relationship between individuals and their social, cultural, and political surroundings from a humanist perspective. Heygster’s work has been exhibited and acclaimed internationally on numerous occasions. In 2025, he was awarded a World Press Photo Award.​​
