Jewish Life in Hamburg today

LET’S TALK! On Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., the event “Jewish Life in Hamburg: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow” featuring Stefanie Sczcupak (Board Member of the Jewish Community of Hamburg/Board of Trustees of the Bornplatz Synagogue) and Rebecca Vaneeva (student/Vice President of the Association of Jewish Students North) will take place at Valérie Wagner’s exhibition SIDE BY SIDE in the Oberhafenquartier. In this conversation, Stefanie Sczcupak and Rebecca Vaneeva will talk about their everyday realities as Jewish women living in Hamburg and present their visions and hopes for a future in a democratic urban society.
