Surprise-Triennial Talk: Have a drink with Mark Sealy, Cale Garrido & Bettina Freimann

In a relaxing atmosphere, you’ll have the chance to talk to artists and learn about their perspectives—or even their favorite drink. 

Joining you at our BE MY FRIEND Bar will be the Triennial team, including Mark Sealy, the artistic director; Cale Garrido, Triennial curator and an active member of our Freundeskreis; and Bettina Freimann, project manager.
Mark Sealy explores issues of decolonization, representation, and cultural violence in photography, and addresses these topics at the 9th Triennial under the motto Alliance, Infinity, Love. Together with a dedicated team, they have put together a diverse and international program featuring numerous exhibitions and events in Hamburg. Gain insights into the themes, perspectives, and curatorial work of the 9th Triennial and take the opportunity to exchange ideas in person—over a cool drink, and in English.
