Opening: "Resonating Images from Peru"

The exhibition opening will be attended by Prof. Dr Barbara Plankensteiner (Director of MARKK), Prof. Dr Mark Sealy (artistic director of the 9. Triennial of Photography  Hamburg 2026), Ambassador Sandra Pinto – La Fuente (Consul General of Peru in Hamburg), as well as the curators Christine Chávez (MARKK), Prof. Dr Gisela Cánepa (Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú), and Dr Walther Maradiegue (University of Bonn), all of whom will deliver introductory remarks on the exhibition. The DJ set “Andine Klangwelten” by Masaru Nishimoto (Luz Y Color/Ton_Scheiben_Sterne) will then provide the perfect musical accompaniment.
