Building on the exhibition Resonating Images from Peru, this workshop discussion aims to open up space for queer perspectives on Hans H. Brüning’s archive, as well as on art, history, and social experiences in Peru more broadly. Through shared dialogue, we will explore questions of identity, visibility, resistance and self-representation. The workshop discussion is designed to be an open forum where questions and the sharing of experiences are encouraged. With Peruvian sociologist and activist Roland Álvarez Chávez (PhD candidate at ISS-Erasmus University Rotterdam). Moderators: Dr Walther Maradiegue (curator), Christine Chávez (curator at MARKK).
