"City Parade – Brave Moves: Courageous Joy" From Barmbek Nord to the Stadtpark

The inaugural Tanztriennale will kick off with a dance parade! On Sunday June 14 the very first parade dedicated to dance and the people of Hamburg will take place in Barmbek Nord. The City Parade will treat the city itself as a stage, breaking open traditional performance formats and exploring new forms of encounter between artists and the public. Through artistic interventions, public engagement, and cross-generational participation, Brave Moves: Courageous Joy will see ideals translated into action.
