Curator‘s talk: Between Bordesholm and Peru – Hans H. Brüning‘s Cultural Legacy

Brünings’ birthplace of Bordesholm is also dedicating a special exhibition to the amateur researcher and photographer in parallel to one being shown as part of the 9th Triennial. In this curators’ discussion at the venue for the exhibition Resonating Images from Peru with Christine Chávez (curator at MARKK) as well as Katharina Krüger and Silke Straatman (curators of the exhibition Hans H. Brüning – A Life of Research in Peru at the Kulturverein Bordesholmer Land e. V.), the curators of both exhibitions will discuss Brüning’s reputation here and in Peru along with his legacy and the resulting transnational collaborations.
