The International Symposium of the 9th Triennale der Photographie Hamburg 2026, taking place on 7–8 November at the Auditorium, Deichtorhallen and Halle 424, Oberhafen, explores how the concepts of Alliance, Infinity, and Love in photography and art can contribute to social and political cohesion.
By linking philosophical, performative, and critically reflective perspectives, the symposium sheds new light on the relationship between cultural freedom, ethical responsibility, and the transformative power of photography.
With this opening event, the 9th Triennale creates a space for global imagination, civil liberties, and cultural dialogue – a place where difference is not only acknowledged but actively recognized and embraced through solidarity.
