Open Call for Hamburg’s Independent Photography Scene
Photographers, artists, collectives, galleries, and art spaces based in Hamburg are now invited to apply for the Triennial Expanded programme as part of the 9th Triennial of Photography Hamburg 2026.
With the Triennial Expanded, we once again advocate for greater visibility of Hamburg’s independent photography scene during the Opening Days, taking place from June 4 to 14, 2026. The programme seeks to foster new connections between the international and local photography communities. Hamburg-based photographers, artists, collectives, art spaces, and galleries are invited to engage with the thematic focus of the 9th Triennial and respond to it through their artistic work. Selected projects will receive funding and be included in the official festival programme.
